Wow, Its been 2 Months???

I cannot believe the last post was in May!

We've done some new designs in between classes, which are almost over, Yeah, Im a grad soon! Check out the pics!

I think we should head to Reggae on the River this year and hawk our camis but time will tell us what it has planned.

Saw the Majestic George Micheal in LA, Fantastic Sexy Beast as Ever Before!

Takin a trip up to Oregon, hope to get to Vegas as well. Soooo much to do and so lil' energy to plan ;-)

Plan to go green car soon, yeah for puttin your $ where your mouth is right!

Free Time!!!

Oracle has some free time coming up, yeah! I hope to spend it painting the "shop" and creating as much as possible before summer term starts! Cant wait to load a picture of the new shop, it'll be so fun and maybe bring good Karma our way.
Planning on doing some craft/art shows on Central Coast this year. Never been involved in one so this will be a fun new venture, think I'm pulling in my Dad to help, he is retired and would love a new assignment!
Oracle is meat free again, no terrestrials I should say. We are Aquaterian, I reason that fish are OK but we're not eating land lubbers anymore...so many reasons I won't even get going! Gotta say that it feels good not to carry that around ;-)

May Progress

Found some really gorgeous Vintage dresses recently. Handmade in 40s and 50s and are in great condition. They're being loaded on Etsy soon, don't miss them!

Finishing up this term at school and can't believe its already summer, I think we're going to San Fran for a break for a few days so we'll surely have some photos of that for you!

New Summer Dresses

Finally got a stride down, we've been working on one-off dresses and skirts for summer. The best feeling is finding a forgotten tank or skirt and making a beautiful piece for girls to wear out. We've been toying with the idea of mens wear, thoughts?

Hearts Me

Ah, the day after egg loving bunny sneakin-
We have done well, 3 sales and growing!
Have made some neat friends in U.S. and Aussieland, very exciting! Learning to account for what people like versus what they find boring, very hard to judge the masses at large.
Will be working on marketing this week. Compiling a mailing list, creating handmade, and locating supplies at great prices.
It is a full time procedure to get underway but soo much fun, cannot wait to load up more items this week, the thrill is in the hunt!

Enough?

We've been working feverishly for the last few weeks, time to let everyone in!
I suppose the interest would be in completed work, there are quite a few pieces going up for sale this week on our Etsy. If you like silk, leopard, and feathers then you must see what we've been working on!
Our latest ideas are functional baroque accessories, look for tassels and shear pleating...this sounds a bit Victoria's Secret but it's more Mozart's remnants. (trust us, its hot)

So we've been following the elections, does it appear to be a total nightmare or what... if you can steer clear of the propaganda can you smell an ounce of truth or integrity- let me know what you think bout this, lets put them all in office and we can have the first "Presidential Collective"

Oracle is up and running, give or take a few chores! How freaking awesome, to be launching full steam into a personal and creative project!
No longer will I answer the 6 am alarm, drag my ass into an office of employees that hate me, to be treated like the biggest hole that fell off Jaba the Hut this century...
I am a free associate of all that is good and harmonious in this world.
Now, to be blunt I have traded the stress of the business world for the stress of "how does and artist feed themselves world" I cannot be the only one,
Does anyone else walk away from everything for a dream or is this just Tao peace ideology that Hollywoodites get us to buy into?

Take It at Face Value!

Setting up shop is the most daunting, humbling, and exhilarating undertaking ... and we've only just started!
Now all I actually need is to finish our items and put them up "for sale"
Where does everyone find the time to be so industrious, I salute those who have gone before me!
Give me some peace and some sanity and maybe, just maybe, if I come to my senses I can get my old job back...
